In the early results both Labour and the Conservatives suffered council losses. The Lib Dems are gaining councillors across the country but are yet to win control over any new councils. As it stands, both the Conservatives and Labour have lost dozens of councillors across the country, while the Lib Dems and Greens have made gains.
