Tailbacks have been reported back to junction 8 and 9. A car is also on fire on the hard shoulder at junction 7. Tailbacks were reported back to junction 8 and 9 before the carriage was fully reopened at about 0900 GMT.

Drivers are being advised to avoid the area. There were more delays when a car caught alight on the hard shoulder at junction 7 shortly after the first incident.
A Highways Agency spokesman said: "The vehicles are all on the hard shoulder. Drivers were advised to avoid the area.
"We've just started releasing traffic on one lane but there is oil and diesel on the carriageway which we are trying to clean up now. A Highways Agency spokesman said the four vehicles had been moved onto the hard shoulder by 0800 GMT.
"We've got people on the way to do this and and this will be done as soon as possible." He said the situation was made worse due to oil and diesel spilling onto the carriageway.
He believed the carriageway would be fully reopened by 0840 GMT.
