Serious injuries in A12 pile-up Man killed as 13 vehicles crash

Three people with serious injuries have been taken to hospital after 12 cars and lorry crashed on the A12 in Essex. A man was killed and several people were injured when 12 cars and lorry crashed on the A12 in Essex.

"Sadly, this person was confirmed deceased at the scene.
"Our thoughts are with the family of the deceased patient at this very sad time."
Five fire crews and three ambulances were called to the incident. Some people had to be cut from their vehicles.
