Three of five people who died in a car crash in Wirral were from the same family. Five people who died in a car crash in Wirral on Sunday have been named.
The three, including a six-year-old girl, were in a Vauxhall Corsa which crashed head-on with a Renault Megane in Spital Road, Poulton, on Sunday. The Rev Dr Graham Mercer died when his Renault Megane collided head-on with a Vauxhall Corsa on Spital Road, Poulton.

Joan Roden-Jones, 64, also of Wrexham, and the Megane driver, 73, also died. Joan Roden-Jones, 64, of Wrexham, who was in the Corsa, was also killed. Police are investigating whether Dr Mercer suffered a seizure at the wheel.
Ms Roden-Jones was also a passenger in the Corsa. A Merseyside Police spokesman said: "The investigating officer said it is one possible avenue of inquiry they are investigating and can't rule it out."
Merseyside police said the Megane driver had been identified, but his details are not being released. He added it was hoped Dr Mercer's post-mortem examination would help explain if he suffered a heart attack or seizure.

Dr Mercer was a retired minister described as still being very active in Wirral church life.
His special ministry involved working with couples getting married at St George's Church in Thornton Hough.
"Graham was a lovely, caring man," said the Rev Howard Sharp, moderator of the Mersey Synod of the United Reformed Church.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with Graham's family and also with the families of all those people killed in this tragic accident."
