Two people were on board the plane when the pilot reported engine failure. It is understood one of them, a female, was airlifted to the Erne hospital. A couple in their 60s were on board the plane when it developed engine problems. Firefighters had to cut open the plane's roof to get at the couple.
The other person, a man, is believed to have been able to walk away. Firefighters had to to cut open the plane's roof to get at the occupants. The woman was airlifted to the Erne hospital, while the man is believed to have been able to walk away.
It happened at about 1415 BST three miles from St Angelo airfield, believed to have been the plane's destination. They were flying from Prestwick to Galway and were stopping off at St Angelo airfield, near where they crash landed at about 1415 BST.
