The woman, who was found in a distressed state by a member of the public, was treated in hospital for a hand injury. Elizabeth McGreevy's daughter, Catherine, said her mother suffered cuts to her hand and bruising to her arm during the incident.
"She was able to struggle with them," she said.
"They jammed her in the the door. She fell out through the back door and in the struggle her hand was all cut and her arm was cut.
"She ran out across the road and fell and a car had to swerve to avoid her."
Mrs McGeevy, who is in her 70s, was treated in hospital for her hand injury.
