A 26-year-old man was hit in the leg after a gunman fired a number of shots into a house in Londonderry on Thursday night. A 26-year-old father-of-three is recovering in hospital after being hit in the leg after a gunman fired a number of shots into a house.
The attack took place in Hollymount at about 2300 BST. Sean Johnston was injured when the shots were fired through the front window of his house in Hollymount Park, Londonderry, at 2300 BST on Wednesday.

Another 22-year-old man was also present in the house at the time, but he was not injured. His sister, Tina, said that they did not know why the house had been attacked.
"It's terrible, my brother and his friend were playing a game and the bullets just came through the window," she said.
