(32 minutes later)
Friends of Daniel Anjorin's parents say they have spoken to his family, and that they are "obviously in shock" and "grieving" the 14-year-old boy's death. The same friends of the Anjorin family, who we said in an earlier post had spoken to the BBC, have also been speaking to the PA news agency.
Janti Charalambous and Ade Caxton-Cole tell the BBC that Daniel was a well-behaved, "lovely boy" who "excelled at school and in sport". Daniel Anjorin, the 14-year-old killed in the attack yesterday, was "an amazing young man... very much loved by many, many people," Janti Charalambous is quoted as saying, who was dropping off a bag of supplies at the Anjorin family home.
They added that the family are "ok... ok and not ok". Janti's son, who knew Daniel, is "heartbroken" to hear of his death, she says, adding:
I was talking to my son and he was so heartbroken, he can remember Daniel driving his little car and playing in the street. He said he can't imagine it happening to his own brother."
Daniel "came from a wonderful family", Janti goes on, saying the community are supporting the family "in any shape or form that they need".
