A number of explosions are being reported in the centre of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad. A number of large explosions have killed at least eight people in the centre of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.
The blasts occurred within minutes of each other at about 1030 (0730GMT). The cause is unclear and three people are reported to have been killed. One blast appears to have been near the health ministry. Another is believed to have been on the same street as the oil ministry and the police academy.
On Monday a bomb blast in Baghdad killed at least eight people - mostly children - at a school. A third blast reportedly killed several people in the Sunni area of Doura.
