A number of large explosions have killed at least eight people in the centre of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad. Several large explosions have killed at least 22 people and wounded dozens in central Baghdad in Iraq.
One blast appears to have been near the health ministry. Another is believed to have been on the same street as the oil ministry and the police academy. The first blast targeted a police patrol in the Doura district of the capital. At least four others occurred near official buildings within minutes.
A third blast reportedly killed several people in the Sunni area of Doura. On Monday a bomb killed at least eight people - mostly children - at a school in the capital.
