The trial heard Harris describe how the couple met, when she joined a 118-118 call centre, where Marsh worked and they later started an affair. Harris, 30, told the jury at Swansea Crown Court on Tuesday that she was in an unhappy marriage to a man approaching 70 when she met and fell in love with Marsh.
Earlier the court was shown a police video of the murder scene at the couple's home in Gorseinon last July. A couple of months into their relationship, she said he asked her to cut him with a knife.
On Tuesday, the jury was shown the video made of the murder scene in Howard's Way, Gorseinon. Man possessed
First the camera showed domestic clutter downstairs, ranging from a dog's bowl, a supermarket carrier bag and a soft toy. She thought it "disgusting and sick" but eventually agreed, she said, because Marsh had a "way of persuading you".
Then the video switched upstairs to show Mrs Marsh's body, with the kitchen knife still still sticking out of her chest, lying next to her blood-stained bed. Sometime later, the jury was told, he asked to cut her and she agreed to a single cut but he seemed "like a man possessed" slicing at her back, arm and leg.
Giving evidence, Harris has begun to tell the jury about the night Jaspal Marsh was murdered.
She said Marsh pestered her to kill his wife while they were at an office party in Swansea. Eventually she agreed to "get her off his back," Harris said.
The court heard that Marsh went away to arrange an alibi and she went back to the party but he kept texting her asking her to kill his wife and she texted back that she would not.
