Victim of nightclub shooting dies Three shootings hit London clubs

A murder inquiry is under way after a man who was gunned down in a London nightclub died in hospital. One man has been killed and another two have been seriously hurt in a series of shootings in or near London clubs over the weekend.
Daniel Ross, 22, was shot at the Scala nightclub, in King's Cross, in the early hours of Sunday. A murder inquiry began after a man shot outside the Scala nightclub in King's Cross in the early hours of Sunday died later in hospital.
Mr Ross, from Kilburn, north London, was pronounced dead more than 12 hours after he suffered a gunshot wound inside the club in Pentonville Road. He was named as Daniel Ross, 22 from Kilburn, north London.
Officers from Scotland Yard's Operation Trident are investigating the incident and have appealed for witnesses. Two men were shot in the early hours of Monday in an incident outside the Fridge club in Brixton, south London.

Mr Ross died more than 12 hours after he suffered a gunshot wound inside the club in Pentonville Road.
Officers from Scotland Yard's Operation Trident are investigating the King's Cross incident and have appealed for witnesses.

Police said they were keeping an "open mind" over the double shooting, which happened just before 0500BST outside the club on Brixton Hill. Both men were found outside the venue, and police said they were of south-east Asian appearance.
Both were treated at the scene and taken to an unnamed hospital, where they were said to be in a serious but stable condition.
Road closures are expected to remain in place throughout Monday while police search the area.
