A priest who was at the scene, Father Stephen McLaughlin, said it was a "chilling" sight. A forensic examination of the scene, which has been cordoned off, is under way.
Detectives have appealed for help to identify the murdered man, described as 6ft, with receding brown hair and aged 35 to 40.

Politicians and community leaders have voiced concerns that dissident republicans may be responsible for the attack, but their involvement has yet to be confirmed.

A forensic examination of the scene, which has been cordoned off, is under way. Eamonn McCann, of the People Before Profit political group, said it was likely the shooting was committed by paramilitaries.
