Southeastern services between Victoria and Brixton were cancelled and Eurostar services were also affected. Eurostar services to and from Waterloo and Southeastern train services between Victoria and Brixton are suspended.
'Unidentified cylinder'
Eurostar suspended its entire Waterloo operation until 1700 GMT on Saturday as a result of the fire.
A London Fire Brigade spokesman said: "Crews were called to a fire at a breakers' yard at 1330 GMT.
"The fire was quickly put out, but an unidentified cylinder is involved.
"As some cylinders can explode when exposed to heat there is a 200m hazard zone in place whilst the cylinder is being cooled."
Two fire engines and around 10 firefighters were involved in cooling the cylinder.
