Thousands of Scottish rugby fans were thought to be among those stranded in London as a result of the suspension of Eurostar services.
Many were expected to travel to France for the RBS Six Nations match at the Stade de France in Paris on Saturday.
A Scottish Rugby Union spokesman said: "We are sorry to hear that there has been a fire but most people know that safety comes first.
"We know Scottish supporters are the most resourceful and if they can find a way to get to Paris they will."
