"Sod the lot," that's UKIP's latest poster. Deputy leader David Campbell-Bannerman says the theme of their manifesto is "empowering the people" and the way to do that - through referendums. UKIP is no longer a single issue party, he adds. Increase the size of the Army by a quarter, return control of hospital wards to traditional matrons and introduce so-called "Tesco referendums" to make local planning decisions on issues like new supermarkets - all of these are UKIP policies. Other plans include re-opening closed railway lines and making foreign lorries pay to use British roads.
