Home Secretary Alan Johnson gives his opening statement, saying Labour have made a lot of progress in fighting crime and anti-social behaviour and this has to continue. Mr Grayling says most people will feel the UK is more violent than in 1997. Mr Johnson argues that this is not the case and that this is a "great tribute to the police". And Mr Huhne says crime has been falling in every western country except Belgium, meaning Labour should not get the credit.
