Two attempted murders and a sexual assault at the T in the Park music festival are being investigated by police in Tayside. Three people in their 20s have been arrested in connection with two attempted murders at the T in the Park music festival in Balado, Perthshire.

Police said three people were helping them with their enquiries. The injured men are being treated at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee where they are in a serious but stable condition.
On Saturday night a woman in her 20s was attacked and a teenager was in a critical condition after a fall. Tayside Police made 64 arrests at the three-day event - five down on 2009.
Commenting on the murder attempts, Det Insp Steve Bissett said: "This has been a particularly disturbing incident where two men have sustained very serious injuries. They confirmed that the force sent 450 staff to the festival and 229 crimes were recorded, which was down on the previous two years.
"This was the time when the majority of campers were making their way back to the campsite following the closure of the arena entertainment.
"It's possible some campers may have captured vital images of the incident on cameras or mobile phones, and a number of others will have witnessed the assault."
