Many parents continue to buy expensive rubbish, & then go on to complain that the toy they bought is expensive plastic rubbish. You don’t have to buy it! There are plenty of good quality toys in ‘non highstreet’ shops and traditional gifts like puzzles, board games, books and craft kits are still available. • Many new toys break so quickly these days - often within days, despite not being boisterous with them. It's really annoying. Our kids have some of their parents toys which are really robust and will last forever. We rotate our kids toys weekly. This works really well in preventing them getting bored of toys. Their excitement lasts much longer with this method. Many new toys break so quickly these days - often within days, despite not being boisterous with them. It's really annoying.
