  • Christmas is hiped up too much. Why don't the manuafacturers go back to older type toys. I got a model train when I was young and now 30 years later I still have model trains but on a bigger scale. These flyby toys are no good for our kids of today. Get the kids making things and designing things. Old toys are the best......Christmas is hiped up too much. Why don't the manuafacturers go back to older type toys. • Several thingsMost toys these days have glossy packaging, glossy pictures and no substance at all. An inanmate lump of plastic that looks like the lastest monster from a cartoon is just that, a boring lump of useless plastic. Many other toys just don't work. Stick to 1960's Hornby from ebay, matchbox, lego, meccano and airfix and all will be fine - and interestingSeveral thingsMost toys these days have glossy packaging, glossy pictures and no substance at all.
