A man has been taken to hospital after being shot on Monday night. The father of a man shot in west Belfast said his son needs surgery to remove pellets from his neck.
The shooting happened at Glenbawn Link in Poleglass at about 2040 BST. The shooting happened at the family home in Glenbawn Link, Poleglass. Shots were fired at the front door at about 2040BST on Monday.
The 35-year-old man was shot in the neck by a man with a sawn-off shotgun. It is thought two shots were fired. The man was taken to Royal Victoria Hospital. His injuries are not life-threatening. A 56-year-old man is being questioned about the attack.
Police have arrested a 56-year-old man in connection with the incident. James Bingham, who is 36, is being treated in the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast.
