Three teenage girls have been injured in a shooting in West London, Scotland Yard has said. A teenage girl and two young women have been injured in a shooting in west London, Scotland Yard has said.

A Scotland Yard spokesman said: "We understand the victims are in a serious condition but we do await an update." London Ambulance Service said the 18-year-old had been taken to hospital as a priority while the two others had made their own way there.
Police said they were alerted by the ambulance service at 19:17 BST and appealed for witnesses to come forward. Scotland Yard said early indications were that a single shot had been fired.
A police spokesman said the three were all being treated at a central London hospital and that their injuries were "not life-threatening".

He said: "We have got officers down there trying to piece together what is going on."

A spokesman for London Ambulance Service said: "Staff treated an 18-year-old woman at the scene. She was taken to hospital as a priority.
"Two other teenage girls, also with gunshot wounds, made their own way to hospital."
The incident is being investigated by officers from the Met Police's Operation Trident which tackles gun crime in the black community.
