A Cheshire Police spokeswoman confirmed on Wednesday that the search remained ongoing. Insp Barry Brown of Cheshire Police said the search remained ongoing and they were renewing their appeal for help from the public.
"There are significant sections of the community who can really help us by reporting anything unusual they might see as they move out and about," said Insp Brown.
"This includes dog walkers, hikers, off road cyclists, as well as other people who head off the beaten path," he continued.
"If you see anything which you think may be relevant, no matter how insignificant, we would like you to get in contact with Cheshire Police".
