Scott Campbell tribute at Inverness Royal Academy Memorial service for teenager Scott Campbell

A two minutes' silence has been held at the school where a teenager, whose body was found on Sunday, had been a pupil. A memorial service has taken place for a teenage mechanic found dead at the weekend.
Scott Campbell, 16, was reported missing on Saturday after he was last seen near the Tesco store at Inshes in Inverness earlier that day. The body of Scott Campbell, 16, was found in the Culduthel area of Inverness on Sunday.
His body was found in the Culduthel area of the city during a search by police and rescue teams. Police are treating his death as unexplained. He had last been seen at about 05.15 on Saturday near a Tesco supermarket in the Inshes area of the city.
The tribute was held at Inverness Royal Academy before the morning interval. Monday night's service was held at the Culduthel Christian Centre where Liz Campbell, who attends the centre, said there had been a "terrific turnout".
A special assembly was also held for fifth and sixth year pupils who had been classmates of Scott's before he left school last summer. "There were a huge number of young people in attendance, along with Scott's family and friends," she said.
"The centre was totally full, it was a terrific turnout for such a sad death."
Earlier, pupils at Inverness Royal Academy, where Scott had attended until the summer, held a two-minute silence in his memory.

The school also held a special assembly for his year group.

A memorial service was held at the Culduthel Christian Centre on Monday evening. Northern Constabulary are treating the teenager's death as unexplained.
