University guide 2013: University of Aberdeen | University guide 2013: University of Aberdeen |
(8 days later) | |
Aberdeen is an ancient university with a strong academic reputation. Its picturesque 15th-century King's College campus lies just 20 minutes' walk out of the city centre. The university offers more than 600 degree courses and has been investing heavily in student facilities in recent years with the opening of a new library, sports village and student centre. Aberdeen (or the Granite city, after the rock it is built of) is a charming, student-friendly city with plenty of good pubs. | Aberdeen is an ancient university with a strong academic reputation.
