A 34-year-old tour party leader who had been missing overnight in the Brecon Beacons has been found alive. | |
Steve Walker had last been seen on Monday lunchtime when was leading a group of four campers from Romford, London, near Pontneddfechan, Powys. | |
He had fallen into a river and hurt his leg, and turned up on Tuesday lunchtime in front of a BBC Wales camera crew. | |
Emergency services said when the party became lost in "awful" weather he had gone off to try to find their location. | |
Gwenfair Griffith, a BBC Wales reporter at the scene, wrote on Twitter: "Steve Walker, 34, reappears in Pontneddfechan after being lost overnight. Our reporting team giving him water." | |
