A man has been charged over the murder of a 44-year-old man in Newport over the weekend, Gwent Police have said. A 20-year-old man is set to appear in court charged with murder over the death of a 25-year-old man in Newport over the weekend.
The body of Wesley Strawbridge was found on Shaftsbury Street near a petrol station on Sunday.
The 20-year-old man is due to appear before Newport magistrates on Tuesday.
Gwent Police said another 20-year-old man arrested was released with no further action, and a 17-year-old was released on bail.
