A man and woman have been found dead in a house in the south of Birmingham. A man and woman found dead in a house in south Birmingham were discovered by a nine-year-old girl.
The pair, understood to be aged in their 30s, were found in a bedroom on Miranda Close in Frankley at 10:00 GMT. Police said the woman was found in a bedroom at the house in Miranda Close, Frankley, while the man was found in the lounge.
Ambulance staff responded to reports two people were unconscious in the house, but both were pronounced dead at the scene. Officers said there were no obvious signs of injury to the pair, who were found at about 10:00 GMT.
They said they were treating the deaths of the pair, both thought to be in their 30s, as unexplained.
House taped off
The girl is now being cared for by family members and specially-trained officers, West Midlands Police said.
Ambulance chiefs said paramedics were called following reports two people had been found unconscious in the house. However, they said both had died at the scene.
