The police said enquiries were ongoing to establish the identity of the body. Police have confirmed the body was of a woman who had been reported missing.

"We're waiting for an update from the police to see if we need to resume the search. Meanwhile have released details of a missing man in the city.
"They're investigating the possibility there could be a second person missing, but at the minute the investigation is still going on." A search is under way to locate Kieran McKeon, 18, from the Republic of Ireland, who was last seen in Derry in the early hours of Thursday morning.
