The motive for the attack remains unclear. It is thought the male victim had earlier been at TC's nightclub on Coronation Road. The victim, named locally as Josh Ribera, had been attending a fundraiser for Kyle Sheehan, who died after he was stabbed last year.

One friend wrote on the page: "Resting up there, bet he's looking down at each of his fans and looking back at the amazing life he had, he was about to make it to the top of the tops."
Another wrote: "R.I.P Depzman. Forever gone and never forgotten! There will always be a place in my heart for you and my music, stay strong fans and make him proud. Your in a better place now man I'm looking up at you".
Police said a post-mortem examination was due to take place.
