A spokesperson said that firefighters are still trying to stop the blaze from spreading to other buildings. Fire Service Group Commander Dermot Rooney described it as "quite a big fire" and said the building was "well alight" and quite badly damaged.
"The information from the scene is that we are making progress," he said.
"There is no information suggesting spread to other buildings."
Among the fire appliances battling the fire are two aerial ones.
Mr Rooney said no members of the public were in danger.
