A man is in critical condition after being shot in Newry, County Down. A man has been arrested in connection with the shooting of a 50-year-old man in Newry, County Down.
It is believed the man was attacked at or near his home in what police called the "Parkhead Crescent area". It happened in Parkhead Crescent in the town on Saturday. Officers were called just after 19:00 GMT and found the man, who had been shot in the stomach and knee.
