A series of crashes involving 12 vehicles which brought a stretch of the M4 to a standstill have been cleared. | |
Two lanes of the motorway's westbound section between Baglan and Fabian Way in Swansea were blocked after the incidents just before 08:00 GMT on Thursday. | |
One crash involved six vehicles and caused tailbacks to stretch to junction 37 at Pyle. | |
South Wales Police said no injuries were reported. | |

The first incident happened at 07:50 GMT and involved four cars near the junction 41 turn-off for Swansea's Fabian Way. | |

As traffic officers dealt with both incidents, a further crash happened involving two cars. | |
An earlier incident on the A4232 Ely link road, southbound between Culverhouse Cross and Leckwith, in Cardiff, has also been cleared. |
