Reuters could not immediately verify the reports. Gernignon Christophe Lecomte, Méribel's resort director, reportedly said the injury was "not very serious". He was quoted by Radio Monte Carlo Sport as saying the former racing driver hit his head against a rock at 11.07am local time. Schumacher had been wearing a helmet.
