Farnham shooting: Dog breeder held after mother and daughter shot dead | |

An 82-year-old dog breeder has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a mother and daughter were shot dead. | |
Surrey Police responded to reports that a firearm was discharged off Crooksbury Road near Farnham, on Sunday. | |
They found the bodies of the women, one aged in her 40s and the other in her 60s. The arrested man has been named locally as 82-year-old John Lowe. | |
Four dogs were also found shot dead; three German shepherds and one Labrador. | |
Police said the women were not related to the arrested man but knew him. | |
He remains in police custody and officers say they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the deaths. | |
