Two men who were found fatally stabbed in a car in east London were murdered in a "ferocious attack" by a hooded gang, police have said. | |
Aaron Carriere, 21, and Josiah Manful, 20, from east London, were set upon by a group armed with knives as they sat in a black Ford Fiesta in Montague Road, Leytonstone. | |
The pair were discovered by officers just before 01:00 GMT on Saturday. | |
Detectives said CCTV would form a "key part" of the investigation. | |
Post-mortem examinations found Mr Carriere was stabbed in the neck while Mr Manful died from stab wounds to the chest, shock and haemorrhaging. | |
Witnesses told officers that a group of five people began "attacking the car quite ferociously from both sides", after it had driven into the road. | |
