A hospital spokesman said the five were experiencing breathing problems and he expected another nine to be admitted later. A hospital spokesman said the five pupils - aged 15 and 16 - experienced breathing problems. A total of 14 people were affected in total.
One pupil has been admitted to a ward, another to a children's ward, two were being assessed and another was allowed home. There were 24 pupils in the classroom at the time of the incident.
Another nine pupils were being assessed by ambulance crews at the school. Two pupils have been admitted to a children's ward at Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor with breathing difficulties, two more are being assessed and one was allowed home, a hospital spokesman confirmed.
It is understood the male teacher has also been sent home.
The spokesman added that they were not expecting any more pupils from the school to be taken to hospital.
