Two men have died following an accident at Crossroads, Killygordon, County Donegal, in the Republic of Ireland. An investigation has begun after the deaths of two farmers in County Donegal.
Seamus Hegarty and Kevin Wood were both farmers and were both aged 52. They were from the Raphoe area of Donegal, just across the border from Northern Ireland. Seamus Hegarty and Kevin Wood were killed after a tractor tyre they were changing exploded just after 18:00 local time at Cross Roads, Killygordan, between Stranorlar and Castlefin.
They appeared to be working at a tractor when the incident happened. The men, both in their 50s, were from the Raphoe area.
