A blaze at a fish factory in Peterhead, which firefighters fought for eight hours, has been brought under control. A fire which blazed for more than 10 hours ripping through a Peterhead fish factory has been brought under control.
Crews were called to the Northbay Pelagic premises in Kirk Square at about 14:43 GMT on Saturday. Crews battled fierce flames at the Northbay Pelagic site from about 15:00 on Saturday until 01:00 on Sunday.

A number of crews were withdrawn from the blaze, which could be seen for miles around, at about 22:43. The fire service said they hoped to begin an investigation into the cause of the blaze in the next 24 hours.
A rest centre was set up at Peterhead Academy for people evacuated from their homes in Errol Street and road closures were expected to remain in place for some time.
Three crews remained on scene overnight to damp down the fire before investigators assess the damage and potential cause.
Northbay Pelagic is reported to employ about 300 people in Peterhead, one of Europe's busiest fish landing ports.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said it had sent six appliances to the scene. At its peak 10 fire units and several specialist crews tackled the flames.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Local road closures are in place in Charlotte Street, and St Peter's Street, Peterhead.
"Evacuation of nearby flats is under way as a precaution in case the fire spreads.
"Members of the public are requested to stay away from the area at this time in order to allow emergency services to focus on managing this incident."
