All children and staff are believed to be safe, Surrey Police said. Nearby roads have been closed.
Officers have advised parents collecting children to walk to the site.
A spokesman for Surrey Fire and Rescue Service said 40 firefighters, eight fire engines and a number of specialist vehicles have been sent to the blaze.
"At this time it is too early to comment further on the incident but updates will be provided on this site when available," he added.
A BBC reporter at the scene said there was a substantial amount of smoke surrounding the area.
