A man in his 50s has been struck by lightning on Pen y Fan in the Brecon Beacons, Powys. Two people have sustained "life threatening injuries" after lightning strikes in the Brecon Beacons in Powys on Sunday.
The Welsh Ambulance Service said three people, two with life-threatening injuries, were flown by RAF Sea King helicopter to Prince Charles Hospital in Merthyr Tydfil. The pair, including a man in his 50s, were flown by an RAF Sea King helicopter to Prince Charles Hospital in Merthyr Tydfil.
Emergency services, including mountain rescue teams, were called to the mountain range at about 12:05 BST on Sunday. A third person was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, the Welsh Ambulance Service said.

In Cardigan, Ceredigion, a house has been struck by lightning. It is understood that two of the casualties were on Cribyn, while the third casualty was on Corn Du, south-west of Pen y Fan.
Mid and West Fire and Rescue Service were called to the property in the village of Ferwig at about 13:10 BST on Sunday. "We received a call at 12.04pm on Pen Y Fan in the Brecon Beacons that a male had reportedly been struck by lightning," said a spokesperson for the Welsh Ambulance Service.
Three crews are at the scene. "We sent two ambulances, a rapid response vehicle and the hazardous area response team, and an ambulance officer.
"Three people in total have been conveyed to Prince Charles Hospital in Merthyr Tydfil.
"Two were conveyed by helicopter with life-threatening injuries, and one person was conveyed by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries."
House hit
In a separate incident in Ceredigion, a house was badly damaged by a lightning strike.
Mid and West Fire and Rescue Service were called to the property in the village of Ferwig near Cardigan at about 13:10 BST on Sunday.
Three crews attended the scene.
