Smoke was pouring across Beach Road and the fish and chip shop had been completely destroyed. At its height 45 firefighters tackled the blaze, with 35 still on site. One person was treated for an asthma attack by paramedics.

The East of England Ambulance service said an officer and a Hazardous Area Response Team was on site, but there were not believed to be any casualties. The fish and chip shop is completely destroyed - the roof has collapsed and the whole of the outside of the building is charred.
There's thick smoke pouring across Beach Road in Hemsby and dividing the village, with beachgoers on one side and holiday camp residents on the other.
The wind has been changing direction here, and that can only make things worse in terms of tackling this fire.
Now it's just a matter of waiting to see how long it will take to bring under control.
