South Wales Police have said one of Cardiff's busiest roads will remain closed "for the foreseeable future" due to on-going investigations into the death of a man this morning. Police are investigating after the body of a man was discovered on one of Cardiff's busiest roads.
Motorists attempting to enter or exit Cardiff are currently facing long delays due to the incident on Western Avenue, which has closed the road in both directions under the Gabalfa flyover. South Wales Police said the man appears to have fallen from the flyover at the Gabalfa flyover on Western Avenue in the early hours of this morning.
South Wales Police said: "The body of a man appears to have fallen from the flyover in the early hours of this morning. A force spokesman said: "The deceased was wearing a cream jumper and red t-shirt, blue jeans and black shoes and may have walked towards the flyover from the direction of Canton.
