Two shot near Navy Yard neighborhood in Southeast Washington Toddler, man shot in Barracks Row barber shop in SE Washington

Two people were shot Friday afternoon near the Navy Yard area in Southeast Washington, according to police. An adult and a toddler were shot inside a barber shop in the Barracks Row area of Southeast Washington on Friday afternoon.
The shooting occurred about 1:40 p.m. at Eighth and L streets Southeast, police said. Conditions of the patients were not immediately available. D.C. police spokesman Dustin Sternbeck said that both victims are expected to survive their injuries.
The victims were in the shop at 1100 8th Street SE, when the shooting happened around 1:40 p.m.
Police said on Twitter that they are searching for a white SUV with no license plate.
