Trump's latest tweet has attacked Boeing's plan to replace Air Force One with a new 747; specifically the "$4bn" he says it will cost.  Trump's latest tweet has attacked Chuck Jones, the president of the United Steelworkers Local 1999 trade union. Jones recently cast doubt on Trump's announcement that he had saved jobs going from Indiana to Mexico.
This tweet has caused Boeing's shares to slide, and reportedly wiped more than $1bn off the company's stock market value. Trump tweeted: "Chuck Jones, who is President of United Steelworkers 1999, has done a terrible job representing workers. No wonder companies flee country!". Jones says he has since received threatening phone calls.
His statement on the cost of replacing Air Force one also seems to be inaccurate. The Air Force has earmarked $1.65bn for two Presidential planes, each a four-engine Boeing 747-8.
