Mr Baldwin was taken to the University Hospital of Wales with a serious head injury where he later died. Mr Baldwin, who had nine children and 63 grandchildren and great-grandchildren, died in hospital with a serious head injury.

Neighbour Janet Wall described how she had looked out of her front window and seen what she thought was someone fallen over. Mr Baldwin's son Adolphus said: "He loved people. He'd do anything for anybody. He'd help them with anything they wanted.
"He was just a loving man. That's the type of person he's always been."
His wife Margaret added: "He's gone too soon. He'd got another 15-20 years to live, I know he did. It's me that should have gone first."
