The car left the road at Eastgate and mounted the pavement, hitting a building at the bottom of Water Street and moving into the path of Ms Bloomer and her son. | |
All three casualties were treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital, where the young boy and driver died. | |
