The SDLP rejected the idea saying they are against joining forces. Lib Dem leader Nick Clegg tells the BBC he has been practising for the leaders' debates on TV with his colleagues Chris Huhne - who's been playing the role of Gordon Brown - and David Laws, who's been standing in as David Cameron. "I don't feel I'm climbing into the boxing ring. It's as much as anything else a great opportunity in order to get across the policies and values of our party," says Mr Clegg.
