Heavy rain has swept over parts of Scotland, with localised flooding causing disruption to travel. Forecasters have warned that the danger of flooding has not passed after heavy rain in much of Scotland.
Roads in Fife and Tayside have been affected and some drivers had to be rescued from their vehicles. By 22:00 on Friday, the href="http://floodline.sepa.org.uk/floodupdates/" >Scottish Environment Protection Agency (Sepa) had 34 flood warnings still in place. It issued a further 10 flood alerts.
Three people have been trapped in properties in Dura Den in Fife after heavy rain caused a river to burst its banks. Further rain is forecast for the north of the country on Saturday morning. The afternoon will see rain returning to the west and southwest.
And residents in the Aberdeenshire town of Stonehaven have been warned the River Carron is in danger of flooding. The worst of Friday's disruption was in Fife and the northeast.
Sandbags have been handed out to residents and barriers have been put in place on roads around the town centre. There were also problems in Fettercairn.
Stonehaven was seriously affected by flooding when the Carron burst its banks three years ago.

In one incident, late on Thursday night, fire crews rescued a woman and her dog from her car after it got stuck in 3ft of floodwater near Colinsburgh on the east coast. A number of roads were closed across the country, including the A92 northbound between Dundee and Arbroath and the A937 Laurencekirk to Montrose road at Marykirk. The B947 Banchory to Fettercairn road was closed at Strachan Bridge due to flooding.
Fife Fire and Rescue Service said the people trapped on Friday in Dura Den, including one elderly woman, were safe. Sandbags have been handed out to residents in Stonehaven.
They will monitor the high water levels before deciding whether or not they need to be rescued.
Storm Hughes told BBC Scotland he was woken early in the morning by a neighbour who told him he had to leave.
"My neighbour knocks on my room, burst in with his head torch on and said 'Storm you are flooded in'," he said.
"I asked do you want to grab some sandbags and he said 'it's a bit late for that'.
"Walked down the stairs, I am ankle deep in water and looking out the window the water level is above my waist."
Mr Hughes said he was "pretty lucky" to get out as his neighbour had just some to rescue his cats and did not realise he was in.
"Looking at the devastation now it is pretty serious. The scale of the damage is astronomical. I'm missing half my house."
The Met Office has issued an Amber (Be Prepared) warning in Central, Tayside and Fife, Grampian, Highlands and the Western Isles.
There is the potential for almost a month's average rainfall over a 24 to 48-hour period, with about 8cm (3in) possible in some areas.

Services from Aberdeen to Dundee were able to run, but at reduced speeds, while alternative road transport has been put in place from Dundee to Aberdeen.
Transport Minister Keith Brown said: "Transport Scotland's Multi Agency Response Team (MART) remains on standby and will be activated if required. Our operating companies are closely monitoring the situation and are ready to deal with any weather-related issues that arise."
