There are reports that several people have been injured in a collision on the M62 in West Yorkshire involving a minibus, a lorry and a car. There are unconfirmed reports of fatalities in a crash which has closed the M62 in West Yorkshire.
The crash happened on the westbound carriageway near junction 32 for the Xscape leisure complex near Castleford. Emergency services and hospitals have declared a major incident following the collision between a lorry, a car and a minibus shortly after 11:00 BST.
Yorkshire Ambulance Service said it had put major incident procedures into place and sent out doctors and a hazardous area response team. One report described six helicopters at the scene near the westbound carriageway near junction 32 for the Xscape leisure complex near Castleford.
